We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join our MIS team. In a buy side financial services setting, this person will be responsible for managing the overall implementation of application development projects sponsored by the front, middle and back office business units. This exciting role will include such responsibilities as:

• Researching and leading the design of solutions that effectively meet identified business requirements and formulating effective project plans

• Managing internal, consultant and vendor resources to complete and deliver solutions to the business units.

• Assuming a leadership role in the development and continuous refinement of the firm’s project management tools and standards

• Mentoring development staff in project management principles, testing methodologies and documentation standards.

We seek an individual with the traits of a leader, the strategic vision to identify new trends and the ability to tactically plan and execute. This position will also have the opportunity to interact with business units across the firm and with key individual at all levels of the organization.
