Customer Service Representative
Job Description:
A national brand is looking for a Customer Service Rep to assist their marketing and sales department. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a customer service call center environment. Must have a sense of urgency and know how to work with both clients and sales staff. Below is a description of the position. If you are interested in the role please send your resume.
Principal Responsibilities
• Receive a high volume of inbound phone calls from customers as well as sales representatives
• Process a high volume of purchase orders from customers into the Windows based database
• Process and issue a high volume of price quotes to customers
• Help customers with technical support over the phone.
• Answer inquiries concerning product capabilities and specifications
• Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues via phone or email
• Make outbound calls for information gathering from potential customers
Qualifications
Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in a customer service environment (call center experience preferred)
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, activities, and projects for completion
• Ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options based on the information supplied and determine solutions
• Communication Skills- communicate complex ideas and solutions in a simplified fashion
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships over the phone and emails
• Ability to empathize with customers and make sure they are happy
