Job Description:

CHICAGO MULTI-UNIT RETAIL DISTRICT MANAGER NEEDED: Base salary, quarterly performance based bonus plan, stock, great benefits.

District Manager Job Summary:

Multi-Unit Sales and Operations District Manager needed to drive sales and profits while creating a customer centric sales culture for 8-10 locations.

This is a hands-on management role working directly with field managers for a national and leading company requiring sales leadership, direct supervision of management and staff for multiple locations in addition to overseeing the overall operations for each site and ensuring high quality standards are consistent throughout the assigned district.

District Manager Job Responsibilities:

** Drive sales through customer service, manage operational expenses, as well as capital expenditures to meet district and company-wide financial goals

** Recruit and hire top talent and ensure each location is staffed within budget

** Mentor, coach and provide performance feedback to help develop successful teams

** Provide training on customer service and help build a customer centric sales culture at each location

** Ensure company standards are adhered to at each location to provide consistency within the company and perform routine operational audits and general maintenance

** Execute divisional and corporate marketing, operational and business initiatives in a timely and effective manner

** Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and participate hands-on in the daily operations and activities of each location along with field staff and managers

District Manager Job Qualifications & Required Experience:

** NOT looking for candidates from big box retail nor manufacturing / account management!

** MUST be a current multi-unit District Manager for a small box retailer

** 4+ years of multi-unit management experience with direct supervision of multiple locations

** Demonstrated stability within previous companies and proven history of upward progression in career

** 4 year college degree is preferred or additional years of DM experience

** Ability to train staff on customer service, selling initiatives and techniques, as well as up selling and overall business operations

** Experience working with P&L and managing operational expenses

** Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training staff

** Ability to motivate, performance coach and instill accountability to achieve results

** Experience with business development and increasing customer base

** Proficient using Outlook, Word and Excel

Competitive base salary, quarterly performance based bonus plan , 500 shares of restricted stock and great benefits
