National Retailer seeks a Retail District Manager with strong multi-unit District Manager experience.

Position requires strong conversational Spanish speaking skills along with a familiarity and experience working within the Hispanic marketplace.

• Do you have Multi-Unit Retail experience as a District Manager directly supporting multiple locations?

• Have you directly led a team driving sales and profits within multiple locations as a District Manager not as a manufacturing or account representative?

• Do you have strong conversational Spanish speaking skills to help increase the Hispanic market share within a leading company?

If YES, we are seeking an experienced multi-unit retail District Manager to increase revenue, maximize profit through sales, operations and marketing as well as provide field management and direction to 15-18 locations within the retail industry. Position reports directly to the Regional Director.

SUMMARY:

Leads and manages the district by establishing and maintaining locations, hiring, training and evaluating district associates. Ensures that policies and procedures are implemented and followed in each supervised location to increase revenues, control expenses and promote client satisfaction through a consistent positive experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, recommend and implement strategy to increase revenue and maximize profit while also increasing client satisfaction with the goal focused on returning customers.

• Lead the field operations and management to ensure successful implementation of Company policy and procedures across assigned territory.

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, mentor and supervise seasonal and off-season associates within the district.

• Responsible for recruiting new hires and employee retention through creative and prescribed methods.

• Utilize Local Marketing Programs as well as Public Relations activities to promote upper level training and to also provide ongoing career and management development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in Business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Progressive and solid work history with at least 5 years recent experience in a District Manager level position within a multi-unit retail environment (Managing 14+ locations with 150+ associates/employees) or have experience managing a large Big Box store

• Spanish Speaking Skills is a MUST!

• Experience in strategic development, budgeting and people management

• Experience in driving top line growth

• Effective management of field personnel to include a working knowledge of organizational planning techniques to include the development of goals and objectives, staffing, and work standards

• Proven track record of developing strong customer relationship skills with the desire and proven ability to work in a diverse work setting
