We are comprised of Bowman Distribution, Curtis Industries, Kar Products, and Mechanics Choice. Through our sales organization, Barnes Distribution provides products to over 55,000 customers in the North and South America, as well as Europe.

We are currently seeking a proven sales professional to join our sales team in North Chicago as a Business Development Specialist. In this role you will have primary responsibility for new account acquisition. This will involve very disciplined prospecting of new accounts, giving presentations on the Barnes Distribution value proposition, and closing those prospects. Additional members of the sales team will then take over responsibility for servicing those accounts.

To be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years of outside value added and conceptual sales experience with demonstrated success in identifying and opening new accounts. Excellent presentation, organization, communication, and computer skills are also a must. Minimum of high school education is required, college education preferred. In return, Barnes Distribution offers excellent salary, plus bonus, and expenses.
